I know that all dogs deserve and crave emotional and intellectual stimulation, but I cannot quantify in words how crucial Emotional Health is for the Rottweiler. Show me a Rottie that "turned" or aggression is "in his nature" and I will show you a Rottie that wasn't encouraged, cheered, celebrated, and given the chance to conceptualize and KNOW that they are loved. That's a lot of blah blah big words, sure, but deadly serious and true.

Rottweilers are extremely intuitive - this trait is often confused with their intellectual aptitude. They ARE very intelligent and highly trainable as a breed, but the read body language, breathing patterns, muscle twitches, eye contact and eye movement AND seem to read your emotional state as well. Maybe it's a hormone thing they smell, I haven't heard/learned about that in life yet.

What I DO know is that all of our Rottweiler pups receive physical and emotional affection daily from birth. I will be publishing activities, tips, tricks, and reports here to help bolster your Rottie's emotional health!
